Troop 3226 Program

ABOUT SCOUT TROOP 3226: Troop 3226 was chartered in February 2019 as one of the first Scouts BSA troops for girls. We work very hard to make sure our troop is scout-led, giving each youth in the troop the opportunity to develop leadership skills.

We like to have fun!  Our outings are a combination of car camping, backpacking, hiking, and a week-long summer camp. Most activities are within Arizona, although activities may be planned in other states.  All activities are planned by the scout-led leadership of the troop with approval by the adult leadership.

Each July, the troop goes to Camp Geronimo, north of Payson, for a week-long summer adventure where scouts have the opportunity to canoe, swim, ride horses, enjoy the shooting and archery ranges, as well as work on merit badges and rank advancement.  Troop 3226 has a tradition of earning the highest troop recognition, known as "Big G Gold", while attending Camp Geronimo.

The troop is involved in various community service projects, not only to our chartering organization but in aid to others as well.  Fundraising activities are held to help Scouts earn their way.

Our meetings are open to any who wish to visit.

Scouting America Troop 3226 is not a coed program.

Girls and boys have separate troops, each under the leadership of its own youth.

About Us - 2024

Our Charter Organization

Scout Troop 3226 is proudly chartered by American Legion Pat Tillman Post #117, an organization deeply committed to supporting and shaping America’s youth. The American Legion has long been a major sponsor of scouting, partnering to instill values like leadership, responsibility, and service to others. Together, we help develop well-rounded, caring individuals who are prepared to face the future with confidence and character. Through their support, our troop is able to provide incredible opportunities for young girls to grow into leaders, serve their communities, and create lasting memories.
